Welcome to the Oregon Department of Justice (DOJ). The Administrative Services Division is seeking to hire an IT Program Delivery Manager (IT Project and Portfolio Manager 1) with strong leadership skills to serve within the Information Services section, on the Legal Tools Program team. In this role you will lead and manage the DOJ’s Legal Tools Program Project Management and Business Analyst staff and ensure cohesive team interactions and quality work products are delivered as part of the overall Legal Tools Program. The position supervises and supports IT Project Managers and Business Analysts, while ensuring alignment with the IT Business Solutions Manager and the larger Legal Tools Program and Information Services teams for consistent project strategy and execution, resource alignment, and adherence to best practices. It serves as a point of coordination for program governance, project schedules, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and daily vendor oversight. This position is part of a team dedicated to ensuring that the Legal Tools Program delivers a product that can be adopted by the users of this new system.
This position is Limited Duration through June 30, 2027, but is likely to be extended or may be changed to permanent in the future. A rotational opportunity may be offered if the best candidate is a current State of Oregon employee.
This opportunity is a hybrid position of remote and in-office work. The office location is the Justice Building in Salem. Occasional travel to office locations throughout Oregon may be required. Note: Training may require additional days in the office.
