Position Overview:
Corporate Wellness Specialist is responsible for supporting a comprehensive global wellness program encompassing a wide range of services and resources to improve the health and well-being of Entrust global colleagues. This role will work with the Global Wellness Program Manager to promote and foster a culture of health and wellness, providing resources, organizing wellness events, and offering guidance on healthy lifestyle choices.
This is a part-time hybrid role, approx. 20 hrs per week. You can be based out of our GHQ in Shakopee, MN or our office in London, UK.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and promote wellness programs and initiatives to improve employees’ overall well-being.
Coordinate and facilitate wellness events, workshops, and seminars (topics including physical, emotional, social, and intellectual well-being).
Serve as a resource for employees on wellness topics, offering guidance and referrals to external health professionals or benefits as needed.
Develop and distribute wellness materials and content, including newsletters, tips, and resources.
Assist in planning and implementing annual planning and program goal setting.
Monitor and track the effectiveness of wellness programs, adjusting strategies to meet employee needs.
Provide personalized, one-on-one wellness consultations or tailored guidance and support to help individuals achieve their health and well-being goals.
Collaborate with other departments and initiatives (HR, Facilities, DEI, ERGs etc.) to create a supportive work environment that prioritizes health and wellness.
Stay up to date on wellness trends, research, and best practices to continuously enhance offerings.
If onsite Shakopee:
Provide general supervision of Wellness Center including facility cleanliness and equipment preventative maintenance
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in health-related field. (i.e., health education, health and wellness promotion, exercise science, nutrition, or a related field.)
1+ years related experience and/or training/internship experience
Knowledge and familiarity with health care principles and practices.
Ability to work on a cross departmental basis.
Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills.
Knowledge of and ability to apply knowledge of computer application skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Demonstrated customer service skills and experience. Ability to work and communicate with all levels of employees.
Ability to collect and analyze data. Ability to define, communicate and assess program objectives, metrics and outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in wellness or health coaching (e.g., Certified Wellness Coach, Certified Health Education Specialist) is preferred.
Experience facilitating group exercise sessions like yoga, stretching etc.
Possess a comprehensive knowledge of and proven experience in designing and implementing wellness programs, particularly in a corporate setting.
Experience with global well-being (i.e. outside of U.S.)
Strong understanding of physical, mental, and emotional health strategies.
