We are seeking a temporary Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Passive RF design performing sophisticated analysis using HFSS, CST and other simulation tools. The position requires deep knowledge in designing, analyzing and implementing complex RF designs which includes multi-layer boards, Coupler, Radiator, Beamformer, polarizer, waveguide, etc. In this role you will use your extensive knowledge to work with suppliers to realize practical designs.

What You Will Do  

• Review requirements and analyze designs as necessary.
• Provide SME assessment of complex designs to programs
• Mentor more Junior Engineers
• Engage with Suppliers to reduce program risk

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
• Experience in RF passive designs
• Expertise in HFSS, ADS, CST and other simulations tools
• Experience with full design lifecycle
• Supplier knowledge to successfully realize passive design
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

• Strong advanced analysis using HFSS and other 3D simulation tools
   to produce complex yet realizable designs.
• Deep understanding of full design lifecycle; RTX processes a plus
• Strong Communication and collaboration skills
• Experience managing teams to execute effectively
