The Cluster brings together four institutions: the Austrian Academy of Sciences, the University of Vienna, the University of Innsbruck, and CEU.<br><br> <br><br>For more information on the Cluster and its members and activities, please consult the website: <a href="https://www.oeaw.ac.at/eurasian-transformations/home" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">https://www.oeaw.ac.at/eurasian-transformations/home</a><br><br> <br><br>Duties and Responsibilities <br> <br><br>The position entails the following:<br> <br><br> * Organizing and supporting Cluster-funded events at CEU<br> * Processing expenses related to the work packages ran by CEU faculty affiliated with the Cluster<br> * Liaising with the coordinators of other Cluster-affiliated institutions<br> * Working closely with the PI of the Cluster at CEU, Tijana Krstic, on Cluster-related issues at CEU and more widely<br><br> <br><br>Qualifications <br> <br><br> * BA degree (minimum)<br> * Experience in a customer facing position ideally in academia or at an international institution<br> * Strong ability to work independently, with skills in managing own workflow in coordination with other staff and faculty<br> * Proficiency in spoken and written English is a must.<br> * Proficiency in spoken and written German is a distinct advantage<br> * Experience with SAP is desirable (processing financial transactions in SAP is an important part of the job)<br> * Multicultural orientation and open-mindedness<br> * Good organizational skills, including the ability to shift between hybrid, in-person, and fully remote environments<br> * Strong interpersonal skills, requiring the ability to understand and respond to the competing needs of diverse interlocutors<br> * Interest in creative problem-solving<br> * Ability to handle multiple tasks and to prioritize<br> * Previous work experience at CEU is an advantage<br> * Previous higher education sector experience is an advantage<br><br> <br><br>What CEU Offers<br> <br><br>A fixed-term, part-time contract (20 hours per week) from October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2028.
