Sales - Junior Key Account Manager

The Regional Field Representative (RFR) will be responsible for representing the Duracell company in their specific assigned region and for selling the PROCELL Strategy to end-users, across all verticals. (S)he is responsible for sustainably growing revenue, increasing end user adoption and accelerating pull through at established distribution, including but not limited to Grainger, HD Supply, Batteries Plus, Fastenal and Ferguson.
The Professional Aftermarket RFR is responsible for ensuring that PROCELL is the preferred choice of battery for the U.S. Professional Aftermarket within their assigned region. 85% of the responsibilities for this role will be spent cultivating new and ongoing opportunities with distribution, in support of strategic initiatives and objectives, under supervision and guidance of the NSM and Sales Director. 15% will be spent supporting key account and industry trade shows. The Professional RFR will leverage PROCELL's market presence, as well as its product quality and performance to further strengthen brand equity in line with the company's strategy and guidelines, while safeguarding the assets of the company.
Assigned Territory Management
· Build relationships with key decision makers to support long-term business sustainability, under the supervision of the NSM and existing distribution account managers, by obtaining new product placement and related initiatives leading to long-term competitive advantage.
· Manage and develop assigned region to support annual budgeted revenue, contribution margin and product volume targets.
· Operational management of assigned region through participation in joint sales calls with distribution reps, branch location meetings, development of relationships with key end users, implementation of account manager sales strategies, customer service, etc.
· Support of industry and distribution trade shows, as required.
Business Development
· Expand the Procell footprint and brand recognition in the assigned territory.
· Exceed KPI’s.
· Grow existing customer base by identifying new incremental opportunities in existing and new verticals
Key Requirements
· Knowledge of battery technology a plus
· Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
· Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
· Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
· High level of resilience and resourcefulness
· Open-minded, motivated self-starter and “can do” approach
· High ethical standards
· Entrepreneurial with a sense of accountability and high ethical standards
· Ability to deliver sales budgets and goals in a timely manner, efficiently using resources

· Salesforce and/or CRM knowledge a plus
· Experience using Microsoft Suite tools, including but not limited to: Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Education & Experience
· College degree required (BA or BS).
