The Senior Director Business Operations - Banking, is responsible for overseeing and providing leadership and oversight to the Business Operations group. Provides overall leadership to the Business Operations function. This includes continuous improvement oversight in a matrixed organization across North, Central and South America.  Ensuring that monthly and quarterly reporting is accurate and timely for presenting to Executive management. Engages with corporate leaders to ensure Business Operations focus on high priority systems, processes, and organizational transformations with significant business impact.  Engaged with the regional leaders across the Americas to ensure consistency in our approach to our customers.  Taking lessons learned from the best practices in each region and cross pollinating these to the other regions.

  • Determines the optimal resource mix for effective delivery of enterprise-wide project priorities.  Build and execute complex projects that involve multidiscipline and multilocation.  Often projects are high value and time constrained with high visibility.  
  • Establishes and manages business process governance structures designed to optimize productivity, fuel growth and enhance customer experience.  Experience with service organizations utilizing standard key performance indicators to manage work force utilization and technician productivity, balanced with customer service level agreements.  
  • Develops deep, credible relationships with senior-level executives, both inside and outside current areas of responsibility.  Comfort presenting to executive leadership and explaining complex topics in a simplified way.  
  • Recognized as a trusted advisor internally and externally from a process analysis and improvement perspective.  Build credibility with multiple organizations internally with in DN to ensure consistency in execution across DN.  Be able to interface with finance, engineering, sales, and marketing building strong relationships and the ability to partner to execute projects internally and externally.  
  • Engages with senior-level stakeholders to define, clarify and resolve issues arising through project design, development, execution or implementation.
  • Ensure Business Operations' priorities and areas of focus evolve as the company's business evolves.  Keep track of project and strategic priorities throughout each quarter and the full year to ensure our “say do ratio” is 100%.   

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Typically, 12+ years of experience in Business Operations, Director level.
  • 12+ years’ effective leadership experience in a global matrix organization.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities. Proven ability to manage remote team.
  • Service Organization experience highly preferred.
  • Advanced experience with Lean / project management. Lean certification is highly preferred.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Location: Hybrid role: 3 days in office, North Canton, Ohio, with the flexibility to work from home. 
  • International travel 2-3 times a quarter.
