Data Analytics & ReportingA key role within US Consumer Risk Management, the successful candidate will lead the Credit Risk 2nd Line of Defense for BMO's U.S. Indirect (Marine/RV) lending portfolios, providing credit risk oversight and effective challenge to the US Indirect lending (Marine/RV) line of business. BMO's U.S. Indirect portfolio has become a leader of the industry following BMO's acquisition in 2023 of Bank of the West. Within BMO's Enterprise Risk and Portfolio Management ("ERPM") framework, the role supports ERPM's dual mandate of "Protect the Bank" and "Grow the Bank", working with 1st line partners and other 2nd line risk counterparts to ensure new Indirect Marine/RV origination strategies and account management actions are effectively managed within the Bank's risk appetite, while supporting profitable portfolio growth.
In-depth knowledge of consumer retail (Indirect) lending process and products, (strongly preferred if have past Marine/RV lending experience) with emphasis on origination strategies and process, key portfolio risk drivers, dealer risk management, product P&L and loss dynamics through the credit life cycle.
Strong portfolio analytics, presentation and data storytelling skills to provide critical insights and understanding of portfolio trends to senior leadership in 1st and 2nd line.
Relevant experience developing, implementing and monitoring credit scoring and automated decision strategies.
Proficiency with data analytics, reporting and visualization tools (e.g. SAS, SQL, Power BI, advanced MS Excel) strongly preferred.
Supports the execution of accurate and efficient reporting solutions for risk, regulatory and management information to internal and external stakeholders including regulatory bodies. Supports an efficient and effective risk management function which uses common information sources and practices, reduces ongoing costs, increases service level performance and minimizes risk.

Acts as the prime subject matter expert for internal/external stakeholders.
Represents the risk reporting function during internal/external regulatory audits and/or examinations.
Ensures alignment between stakeholders.
Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
Develops and manages comprehensive information management systems; designs and/or leads initiatives to improve processes, analysis and reporting.
Leads change management programs of varying scope and type, including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation and sustainment of initiatives.
