We are hiring for an innovative, collaborative, forward thinking tele-cardiologist to join the growing Biofourmis health technology-enabled services delivery company to launch our inaugural Heart Failure virtual specialty care product. You would manage a growing panel of patients and contribute to the growth and development of a telemedicine program that leverages first in class medication management titration algorithms combined with patient management principles.
Responsibilities:
- Provide remote cardiology services
- Virtually evaluate patients entering the program, create care plan based on patient specific needs and predesignated protocols
- Receive escalations from health navigators, RNs and APPs related to patients’ deviations in vitals and physiologic data; symptoms; weight changes
- Provide education to patients about healthy behaviors and disease-management
- Liaise with healthcare navigators to ensure proper medications, labs and virtual appointments are ordered and communicated to the patient
The ideal candidate:
- Board-certified cardiologist
- Medical Doctor with 5 years of cardiology experience
- Licensed in New Mexico
- DEA certification
- Previous telehealth experience and comfortable working with health care providers at all levels, including clinical and non-clinical personnel
- Willingness to work in a changing, dynamic environment with a growing company
- Proficiency with Windows-based computer applications, email and web-based skills
- Experience navigating multiple EMR systems
- Must be able to work remotely in a HIPPA compliant environment
- Must be available to work some holidays and weekends
- Flexible for part-time or Full-time availability
