ExigerAbout the role
Risk, Threat, and Supply Chain Database Lead
At Exiger we make the world a safe and transparent place to succeed. Exiger was named one of Fast Company’s "Brands That Matter” in 2023 because of its innovative software to solve global supply chain challenges. We help clients with some of the most complex third-party and supply chain risk management (SCRM) issues.
Exiger is building a Risk Threat Intelligence Team that will use our tools, data, and research to create a proprietary database that maps supply chains and highlights risks and threats.
For this new team, we are seeking a candidate who thinks creatively to solve complex problems to support our mission and continue helping us innovate to meet market needs. The current focus is to gather, synthesize, analyze, review documents, scrape websites, and find other ways to compile risk and threat data as well as entity linkages, to be built into a structured database for ingestion in our technology solutions. The immediate focus is on human rights, raw materials, and supply chain relationships.
The candidate will be the first to take on this responsibility at Exiger and thus will need to establish new processes and procedures. Over time, the plan is for the candidate to oversee other analysts in researching, monitoring, manipulating, and analyzing data, while recommending ways to improve our processes and ensure the quality of our solutions.
The candidate will coordinate and collaborate across all business units to accomplish their goals. The ideal candidate will have entrepreneur-like qualities and a passion for collaborative problem solving. They will possess at least intermediate skills in data analysis and data management tools and techniques, and be able to quickly learn Exiger’s proprietary tools such as DDIQ. The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills and research capabilities. Exiger is seeking a hands-on leader willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done. The successful candidate must be an energetic professional who will advocate for the company and establish and maintain relationships with colleagues across the company.
