As a Pharmacy Supervisor, you’ll serve as a key clinical leader—guiding pharmacy operations, ensuring safe and effective medication use, and partnering closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams. You’ll be hands-on with patient care, provide critical consults, mentor staff, and help shape best practices throughout the department.
What You’ll Do

Supervise daily pharmacy operations, ensuring timely and accurate distribution of medications.

Provide leadership and support to Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.

Serve as the supervising pharmacist in accordance with NYS regulations.

Offer pharmacokinetic, antibiotic, and parenteral nutrition consults to providers.
-
Support high-quality patient care by collaborating with the entire healthcare team.
-
Participate in performance improvement initiatives, adverse drug reaction reporting, and medication safety efforts.
-
Support medication management across all patient populations—neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.
What You Bring
Education
-
Minimum: BS in Pharmacy
-
Preferred: PharmD
Licensure/Certification
-
Current NYS Pharmacist License (or eligibility)
Experience
-
Minimum:

One year of hospital pharmacy experience
-
Demonstrated leadership experience
-

Preferred:
-
Previous supervisory experience
-
Skills & Knowledge
-
Expertise with Unit Dose Systems, IV admixture preparation, parenteral nutrition, and chemotherapy
-
Understanding of pharmacokinetic dosing principles and dosage adjustments across diverse patient populations

Experience with ADR reporting and quality/performance improvement

Strong computer competency
-
Ability to communicate clearly, work collaboratively, and uphold our Healing Environment principles
