opportunity to contribute to the company’s success. As a Software Engineering Manager, within ET&S APPS BUSINESS OFFICE, you will be based in one of our Technology hubs (Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL, Dallas, TX). Weekly time in the office is required.
Core hours are 8am-5pm EST. Occasional night/weekend work can be expected. Some travel also required

Preferred Skills
Analytical Thinking, Business Intelligence (BI), Concept Development, Data-Driven Decision Making, Data Integration, Performance Metrics, Strategic Planning, SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or other relevant SAFe certifications, Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps), Experience in a large-scale Agile transformation, Familiarity with Lean principles, Experience with financial tracking of projects (Clarizen etc.).

The Senior Software Engineer Manager is a leadership role responsible for fostering a high-performing Agile environment within the organization. This position manages a team of SAFe Agile Scrum Masters and Release Train Engineers (RTEs), ensuring the effective execution of Agile practices and the successful delivery of value through Agile Release Trains. The Manager will champion continuous improvement, drive alignment across teams, and serve as a key advocate for Agile principles and practices.

Job Description

  • Manage a group of software engineers/managers across multiple product lines.
  • Oversee the talent management of engineering talent, including recruiting, mentoring, and enabling a culture of learning with a focus on engineering craftsmanship.  
  • Foster technological innovation, ensuring adoption of current trends, capabilities, and practices emerging in the market. Encourage sound technology choices are made and drive innovative technology architecture and solution design. 
  • Identify issues, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
