Physician - Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist, Per Diem/Casual - Helen DeVos Children's Hospital - Grand Rapids, MI

Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital (HDVCH) is seeking to hire board certified or board eligible child & adolescent psychiatrists on a per diem basis to support our new pediatric medical psychiatry unit.  This new 12-bed unit will be the first of its kind in Michigan.  

Coverage opportunities include:

• Onsite Saturday & Sunday pediatric medical psychiatric unit coverage - admissions and rounding on current patients

• Offsite weekly overnight call coverage

For child psychiatrists outside of our local area we are able to provide support with travel and accommodations.

Qualifications

MD/DO; BC Psychiatry, BC/BE Child & Adolescent Psychiatry; Full License State of Michigan or ability to obtain

Qualifications

• Required Doctorate

• LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or
• LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
• CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 120 Days required
• CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association If required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required
