The Opportunity

Commvault is seeking a Director, Global Systems Integrators (GSIs) to build, lead, and scale our strategic partnerships with key Indian-headquartered GSIs. This leadership role will be responsible for developing and managing a high-performing team focused on driving joint go-to-market execution across the Americas, while aligning with global SI strategies.

The Director will own the vision, structure, and execution of the Indian GSI partner business—combining strong people leadership with deep ecosystem engagement. This includes hiring, developing, and coaching a team of alliance and sales professionals, while driving measurable impact through partner-led revenue, pipeline growth, and strategic account penetration.

 

What you’ll do…

  • Lead and scale Commvault’s strategic engagement with Global Systems Integrators (GSIs), with global responsibility for Indian-headquartered GSIs
  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing GSI alliances team
  • Define and execute GSI strategy across the Americas in alignment with global priorities; drive partner-sourced and influenced revenue, pipeline, and co-sell execution
  • Recruit and expand strategic GSI partnerships to increase market impact
  • Develop scalable partner programs, commercial models, and agreements supporting resale, co-sell, and services-led motions
  • Embed Commvault into GSI advisory, consulting, and managed service offerings
  • Establish senior executive relationships; lead joint business planning, governance, and performance tracking
  • Align with sales, partner, and delivery teams to identify, qualify, and close opportunities
  • Collaborate with global GSI teams to scale best practices and ensure consistency
  • Drive integration of Commvault solutions into GSI-led offerings

 

Who you are…

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or GSI/partner leadership roles
  • Proven experience building, leading, and scaling high-performing teams
  • 5+ years working with Global Systems Integrators (e.g., TCS, Infosys, HCLTech, Wipro), with strong understanding of their operating models and go-to-market approaches
  • Consistent track record of driving partner-sourced and influenced revenue and exceeding targets
  • Experience developing and executing cross-functional business plans in matrixed organizations
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of enterprise technology markets, including cyber resilience and cloud, preferred
  • Understanding of partner ecosystems and global go-to-market motions
  • Approximately 25–35% travel, with a concentration in the United States and periodic international travel aligned to global partner engagement
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
