SEND Teaching Assistant

Axcis Education are working with a local primary school near Birmingham, seeking a nurturing teaching assistant, supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a care background, experienced with supporting an array of young people with complex needs. This mindset they seek to instil in all children in their care! This is a full -time Teaching Assistant position starting in September, working everyday Monday to Friday. The role will involve supporting children with varying complex needs. In this role, candidates will be paid £92.63 per day. The Role * Supporting children between the ages of 4 to 11 * Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) * Provide students with personalised and tailored support for all individual needs * Build meaningful, positive relationships with all students * Bring a calming influence to the classroom Requirements * Previous experience supporting young people with SEND * A caring and patient nature, with the ability to foster positive and meaningful relationships with all pupils * Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service * Availability to work 8:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday Why Axcis Education?
