Your role as an Occupational Therapist

  • Perform comprehensive assessments to identify physical, cognitive, and emotional needs

  • Develop and implement personalized OT treatment plans to help residents reach their goals

  • Address challenges in mobility, daily activities, and social engagement

  • Support recovery from injury, surgery, or illness with effective OT interventions

  • Recommend adaptive equipment and home/environment modifications

  • Conduct cognitive and motor skill training

  • Educate families and caregivers to promote independence and safety

  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to provide holistic care

  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school with a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • License as required by the State of Wisconsin to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
