Manager, Data Engineering

Job Description

Administer, test, and implement computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems. Design and develop data engineering pipelines to ensure smooth data flow between different platforms and servers. Optimize SQL and database structures. Develop and maintain tables, view, triggers, indexes, and stored procedures. Automate data deliveries to the client. Train analysts on the team and team off shore to handle the new and existing data pipeline. Communicate with clients to gather requirements and resolve any outstanding issues. Fulfill data related adhoc requests from BI and Media team. Manage data warehouse structure and file storage rules. Performance tune time taking SQL and Spark queries using best practices. Build data flow automation to retrieve, transform and load data. Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. Analyze business requirements and collaborate with the Business Intelligence (BI) teams to provide strategic solutions. Collaborate with Senior Data Architects and Engineers to assess data management and architectural demands. Create new novel products and analytical offerings in coordination with BI and Publicis Health leadership teams. Identify functional requirements to ensure systems are designed, developed, and implemented to solve business challenges and opportunities in the most efficient and cost-effective way.

Qualifications

Employer will accept a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Intelligence, or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or two years of experience in any occupation in which the required skills were gained. Experience must include one year of experience in the following:
