We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Application Analyst III to join our Digital Technology Services (DTS) team. This position serves as a senior-level role within the Clinical series, responsible for complex systems analysis, application programming, and serving as a subject matter expert in technical solutions that support business and clinical needs. Analysts at this level act as mentors to junior staff, function in a lead role on major development projects, and ensure data integration across Epic and third-party systems.

Job Overview
The Clinical Application Analyst III provides leadership, guidance, and advanced technical expertise in the design, support, and optimization of clinical applications. This role focuses on application testing, server security, and risk management—particularly with the integration between Epic and third-party systems—while ensuring the flow of accurate, reliable data across the health system.
What You Will Do

Perform all duties defined for Analyst I and II roles.

Serve as project coordinator for small-to-medium projects, including documentation, work plan development, resource coordination, and communications.

Routinely monitor and assess application operations; perform adjustments to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness.

Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for assigned applications/technologies, providing consultation and strategic recommendations for system growth and improvement.

Coordinate server security monitoring and remediation planning.

Mentor Analyst I & II and Clinician Analyst I & II team members, supporting their development and cross-functional growth.
What You Will Need
Education

Associate’s Degree in a related field – Required

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field – Required
Experience
-
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant applications development and support experience – Required
Skills & Abilities

Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

Ability to interpret technical instructions and solve abstract or complex problems.

Skilled in data entry, retrieval, integration, and analysis across diverse sources.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.

Proficiency with calculations, measurements, and technical specifications.
