Look no further! We have an exciting opening for an Outpatient Therapist at Mayo Clinic St. Mary's Hospital.

About the Position
As an Occupational Therapist in this position, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse pediatric population ranging from birth to 18 years of age. You will provide evidence-based, compassionate care to patients transitioning from inpatient services, as well as those in need of specialized treatments, including:

  • Subacute outpatient for patients transitioning from inpatient settings
  • Intensive feeding program for children with feeding difficulties
  • Cancer-related therapy to support pediatric oncology patients

While primarily focused on outpatient services, this role also provides opportunities to work within our CARF-accredited rehabilitation center and our acute care hospital. You'll gain hands-on experience across multiple care settings, enhancing your professional growth and expertise in a variety of therapeutic areas.

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Minnesota as an Occupational Therapist. Demonstrated skills in the areas of organization, communication, interpersonal relations, leadership, decision making and problem solving. 
Prefer board certification in clinical specialty area and/or advanced degree in health care field. 
Also prefer active participation within professional organization.Current occupational therapy licensure in the state of Minnesota.
NBCOT certification as an OTR is required for employment at Mayo Clinic (both upon hiring and ongoing certification every 3 years).
