Visual Merchandising Associate

Samuel & Sons is seeking an Entry-level Visual Merchandising Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in creating visually appealing displays that attract customers and enhance their shopping experience. You will work closely with the merchandising team to ensure that our products are showcased effectively in the flagship showrooms and contribute to our brand's aesthetic vision.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and implementation of visual merchandising displays in-store and online.
• Collaborate with the merchandising team to ensure product placement aligns with brand guidelines.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking merchandise as needed.
• Participate in planning and executing promotional events and seasonal displays.
• Conduct regular audits of visual displays to ensure they meet company standards.
• Provide feedback on customer reactions to displays to help improve future strategies.

Requirements

• - 1 to 2 years of experience in product merchandising principles
• - Degree in Art or a related field
• - Ability to work with multiple mediums, including painting, sewing, and building
• - Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office
• - Strong project management skills
• - Detail-oriented and highly organized
• - Solution-oriented mindset, able to think outside the box when creating displays
• - Knowledge of the interior design industry is a plus
• - Flexible schedule to work and travel outside of regular working hours
• - On-site position
