About the TeamOur Product team is the beating heart of MYOB. From discovery through to delivery plus Data and Insights, it’s made up of a broad and multi-disciplined group of specialists focused on designing products that help our customers optimise their business potential and creating best-in-class customer and user experiences.
The opportunityAs the Head of Product Management, you’ll take the lead in crafting the future of MYOB’s mid-size business product portfolio by redefining and elevating the team’s capabilities to align with and implement the evolving product strategy.
This critical leadership role involves being responsible for the strategy, execution, and performance of a diverse set of products, spanning both cloud and on-premise solutions. Your focus will be on acquiring new customers onto our industry-leading cloud platforms, while also driving outcomes for customers on high-performing legacy products.
Reporting to the General Manager of Product, Product Marketing & Design, and working as part of the senior leadership team, you’ll lead a high-performing team, each embedded in cross-functional squads. Together, you’ll nurture a customer-first approach, delivering measurable business outcomes and outstanding user experiences.

What you’ll be doing:- Defining and driving the strategic direction of MYOB’s product portfolio, balancing high-level objectives with daily execution.- Leading a team of Product Managers to deliver high-quality products through transformed approaches to discovery and delivery, encouraging innovation and adaptability.- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Technology, and Design, to align on shared goals and ensure unified execution.- Using analytics to prioritise customer problems and measure product success.- Driving customer-centric innovation by embedding feedback loops and user research into workflows.- Developing and implementing market-winning product strategies that broaden MYOB’s serviceable market.- Representing MYOB externally, engaging with customers, partners, and industry guides to build advocacy for our solutions.- Inspiring and coaching your team to achieve high engagement and performance by redefining their approach and capabilities to meet strategic challenges, encouraging a culture of empowerment and innovation.

Who you are:- If you have significant experience in the following areas, we’d love to learn more about you:- Proven leadership of product portfolios in a SaaS or enterprise environment, with a track record of driving growth and customer acquisition.- Expertise in product strategy development, aligning business goals with customer outcomes.- Thorough familiarity with product management methodologies, with a focus on hard-working practices and quick learning.- Experience engaging directly with customers to validate ideas and iterate on solutions.- Strong ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, aligning efforts across Product, Technology, Marketing, and Design.- Deep understanding of market dynamics, customer workflows, and the competitive landscape.- Strong communication and customer management skills, building trust and driving alignment across all levels.- A natural leader with a proven ability to inspire, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
