About the team + role
We are seeking a Finance & Strategy Manager to collaborate closely with our Growth team, which is driving the next chapter of customer acquisition, retention, and engagement at Robinhood. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping a robust financial framework for the Growth team, leading strategic initiatives to propel customer acquisition, foster retention, and elevate engagement.
We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in financial modeling, strategic thinking, and budgeting/forecasting, coupled with a strong track record of partnering with cross-functional stakeholders. In this role, you will be instrumental in evaluating and shaping growth initiatives and strategies, making a tangible impact on the company’s success. The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience influencing business leaders and supporting decision-making in fast-paced, dynamic environments. With regular interaction with senior leadership at Robinhood, this role demands exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively convey insights and drive strategic alignment.
It is preferred that this role is located in one of the office locations listed on this job description which will align with our in-office working environment. This position is only eligible for remote work in limited geographies within the US where we do not have physical office locations. What you’ll do
- Partner with the Growth team to assess the financial and strategic impact of customer acquisition, retention, and engagement initiatives.
- Analyze and forecast the financial implications of growth-related incentives and promotions, ensuring alignment with business goals and ROI expectations.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting and long-term financial planning efforts to support the Growth team’s objectives.
- Build and maintain complex financial models to inform decision-making and provide actionable insights on growth strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and prioritize strategic opportunities, contributing to the formulation of scalable growth plans.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for growth initiatives, delivering actionable recommendations to enhance outcomes.
- Work closely with teams across marketing, product, engineering, and analytics to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
- Present financial insights, growth strategies, and recommendations to senior leadership, driving alignment and influencing key business decisions.
What you bring
- B.A. in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 6+ years professional work experience in finance & strategy roles with progressively increasing levels of responsibility and including 3+ year(s) supporting business partners
- High proficiency in Excel and Google Suite products
- Excellent analytical financial modeling and forecasting skills
- Superb product and business sense, and concise communication skills
- A strong sense of urgency, speed and high standards and a strong work ethic - you always bring your best and expect your colleagues to do the same
- Experience in consumer fintech products is a plus but is not required
