A day in the life 

As our Private Client Advisor on the Yacht team, you will support a high-volume book of business for our Private Pleasure Yachts Clients. You'll provide proactive day-to-day service by anticipating and evaluating client needs and responding to client questions in person, over the phone, or via email. You’ll gather information related to the client needs and propose a variety of solutions to manage the clients risk. You will need to negotiate with multiple insurance carriers to provide comprehensive coverage options while conforming to all laws and regulations. You will be responsible for new business development of your assigned book of business through referrals and expanding existing client programs. You will use an agency management system to maintain all pertinent account information accurately and in a timely manner.  
 

Our future colleague. 

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills: 

  • Insurance experience with High Net Work clientele 

  • Property and Casualty (P&C) license 

  • Client facing experience with strong professionalism skills including confidentiality, professional written and verbal communication, team player attitude, and a sense of urgency  

  • Some travel required

 

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply: 

  • Yacht or marine insurance experience 

  • College degree 

  • Professional designations are a plus, e.g. CPCI, CIC, CPRIA 

  • Relationship with carriers 

  • Experience using an agency management system
