This position supports the overall care and upkeep of park grounds, buildings, and facilities. It combines physical tasks with routine maintenance to keep the park operating smoothly. As a Park Maintenance Worker, you will perform the following duties:
- Grounds Care: Maintain grass, brush, trees, and natural areas using hand tools and power equipment
- Facility Upkeep: Clean park buildings, remove trash, and complete basic custodial tasks
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain vehicles and machinery such as dump trucks, Utility Task Vehicles, and tractors
- Routine Repairs: Assist with repairs and basic construction using carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and masonry tools
- Tool Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment used in daily tasks

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- This is a seasonal, full-time position with no healthcare benefits. There is not an option to buy into health care benefits. The season runs from approximately March 2026 until November 2026 at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay. The employee will automatically be returned to employment approximately March 2027.
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Work shifts and days vary, will work 5 days/37.5 hours per week to include weekends, holidays, and evenings when needed

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Condition of Employment:
- This position requires possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver’s license or equivalent.
