Job Description

• Drive DevOps function for various data services with emphasis on automation
• Configure cloud resources using Terraform, Packer, Chef/Ansible
• Own and operate large scale production systems in AWS, Azure and bare Metal instances
• Own and manage multiple Kubernetes clusters
• Deploy and Operate Elastic Search Clusters
• Design and operate log aggregation and collection infrastructure

Qualifications

• Strong experience building, managing and supporting large Kubernetes clusters
• Strong experience in building and managing Elastic Search clusters
• Hands on Experience and understanding of any one cloud platform AWS/Azure
• Strong understanding of Metrics and Log collection, Aggregation and Reporting e.g: Telegraf, Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentd, Kibana
• Experience in Bash Scripting and any one of the programming languages - Go/ Ruby/ Python/ Java/ Scala
• Strong understanding of Linux OS, Networking concepts and protocols
• Strong focus on automating repetitive tasks
• Experience in Ansible/Chef, Terraform, Docker, Packer
• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or equivalent

Desirable skills:

• Experience with Hadoop, Kafka and Spark
• Due to the nature of the work, US citizen is preffered.
• Some experience operating infrastructure service Federal customers

Additional Information

The base salary range for this full-time position is $120,250 to $185,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
