Salary/Position Classification
- 15.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 40 (summer) hours per week
- 100% Remote Work Availability: No
- Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position
Conducting bird, mammal, plant, and pollinator surveys as part of wildlife inventory surveys in Minnesota and North Dakota.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Collect data in the field on pollinators, birds, mammals and vegetation.
- Deploy and maintain trail cameras and acoustic recording units
- Review images collected from trail cameras and audio files to identify birds
- Assist team in data entry, duration and analysis of field-collected data
Minimum Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a military-based background check
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

- Majoring in fisheries and wildlife ecology
