Position Overview:
This candidate will develop, test, debug, and implement efficient technical solutions for complex business requirements provided in use cases and/or represented graphically. This solution will integrate with our existing automation and robotics solution running in our fulfillment centers.
What You'll Be Doing:
Understand requirements presented graphically and create a robust software solution that integrates well with existing automation and robotics solutions
Code, test, and debug the software solution for the requirements
Performs code reviews to verify changes meet development requirements and deploys and stages code in development environments
Work closely with cross-functional teams
Manage issues that can be fixed and enhancements that can be made to improve our software so that it becomes more robust, scalable, and efficient
Quickly diagnose and troubleshoot errors that occur in both live production environments and testing environments
What's needed - Basic Qualifications:
Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
Must be a rising junior or senior, graduating in May 2027 or May 2028
Experience with Core Java and Java web application development for RESTful web services
Ability to understand and author APIs
Experience in HMI/GUI design using HTML and JavaScript is a plus
Knowledge of database design
Knowledge of logistics, warehouse management, or Tableau is a plus
Experience with source control, code reviews, and code coverage analysis
Willing to learn new and emerging technologies
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in software
Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, and the ability to conduct meetings and presentations with associates from all levels of management
The job will require 0 - 10% travel
