The anticipated salary range for this role is between $142,000.00 and $196,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualification, experiences, and analysis of current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC MANUBANK offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees.

SUMMARY:

As a Technology Program Manager, you will lead the IT Program to build and evolve our solutions. The Program Manager will work closely with Vendors, Scrum Masters, Development Leads, Product, Testing, Information Security and other partners as needed to plan and manage the Technology activities required to deliver strategic initiatives. You will lead program activities, establish consistent structures inside the program and its workstreams, produce executive level presentations and proactively manage risks and impediments. You will track status reporting, risk management and manage artifacts as well as driving collaboration, decision making and organization of resources to meet the business need. You will be working closely with leaders, internal and external partners, ensuring collaboration across the team.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage IT programs, manage scope, identify, and mitigate risk, ensuring success of critical deliveries.
  • Establish KPIs and manage program performance and report to senior leadership on a regular basis.
  • Track project milestones, report and update progress and performance against the project plan.
  • Support stakeholder management with diverse external parties, connecting and engaging stakeholders.
  • Recognize and resolve operational issues and minimize delays in the delivery of program objectives.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required, or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in project and change management.
  • 7+ years of experience in a financial advisory, accounting, analytical, or technical program/project management.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Presentations, and Word including design, development, and implementation of tables, analysis, presentations, and documentation.
  • Presentation and communication experience in a work environment to all levels of stakeholders including producing and presenting reports, status, and timeline via email, in person, and video.
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, gathering data and requirements, tracking deliverables, and analyzing results.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, SCRUM, SAP Activate, SAFe) & tools.
  • Strong willingness to approach projects with a can-do attitude and create standards.
  • Comfort working with a diverse population, technically proficient, able to multi-task well, explain solutions clearly, is well organized, and can work autonomously.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage complexities and interdependencies with the ability to identify, describe, and communicate these in a succinct way.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with banking domain solutions strongly preferred.
  • Experience in change management.
