Main Purpose of Job 

To film and produce regular feature content across the US and Canada, to ensure IMG is responsible for a high quality of creative material on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV. To work with a small features team in bringing fresh and dynamic stories to life for core and casual MLS audiences.

Average 40 hours per week; flexibility required for nights, weekends, and holidays due to sports production schedules.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities 

 

The Role and What You’ll Do: 

 

The Camera Operator / Producer will work within a small features team to craft weekly stories that bring the culture of MLS, its teams and players to life for soccer audiences. Proficient in filming as a single camera and working as part of a small and agile team – this role will bring a multi-skilled approach to producing feature stories of all types for multiple platforms each week. The ideal candidate will be a storyteller, have extensive experience in feature content, a keen eye for visual storytelling, and a strong understanding of soccer. 

 

Production Oversight: 

  • Work closely with the Features Producer in planning, pre-production and production of feature material created across the US and Canada throughout the season.  

  • Assist with the coordination of studio shoots, ensuring all elements meet creative and technical standards. 

  • Collaborate with producers, other editorial staff and on-air talent to execute engaging, visually compelling programming.
