About the role

Eaton’s AER Aerospace Group division is currently seeking a Executive and Human Resources Assistant.   This role with sit on site 5 days a week at our Camarillo, CA sit working 7am-4pm.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $65000 - $95000 a year.

What you’ll do:

The Executive and Human Resources Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Operations North America Director and the local Site HR Manager, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations. This role coordinates executive scheduling, meetings, and communications while supporting key HR activities such as onboarding, employee engagement, and documentation. The position requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Acting as a trusted partner, the individual maintains confidentiality and fosters effective collaboration across teams. This role is essential in supporting both leadership effectiveness and HR operations.    


Job Responsibilities    

  • Provide administrative support to the Operations North America Director, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements
  • Prepare and manage expense reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
  • Support the Site HR Manager with HR administrative tasks such as onboarding, employee records, and compliance documentation
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and track follow-ups and action items
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal communications and cross-functional coordination
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive executive and employee information
  • Assist with employee engagement activities and site events
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and general business correspondence
  • Manage office administrative tasks to ensure efficient daily operations   

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications (Must Haves):

  • Minimum of 3-years work experience supporting senior leadership
  • No relocation is provided for this position.  Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of Camarillo, CA to be considered for this opportunity.
  • This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158
  • Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States on a continuous basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and administrative systems, with experience in scheduling tools, expense reporting platforms, and HR information systems.

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and build effective working relationships.
