The Medical Affairs mission is to continually improve and expand our care delivery programs, practices and outcomes as we build precision mental health care for our customers. We are seeking a qualified Program Manager to join our Medical Affairs team. The role will be responsible for operational oversight and evolution of new and existing clinical safety and outcome improvement programs. This role will be a full-time employee role and report directly to the Operations Program Manager, Medical Affairs.
What you’ll be doing:
- Oversee the operational dynamics of clinical program management, including orchestrating meeting schedules, spearheading cross-functional initiatives, and actively engaging in clinical content creation and oversight.
- Ensure the continual development of clinical safety and quality programs, optimizing member experiences through impactful and scalable initiatives.
- Foster seamless collaboration with Quality, Provider Operations, Data Science, and Product teams, ensuring efficient management of clinical initiatives while adhering to set timelines.
- Spearhead cross-functional project management efforts, diligently navigating tasks and deadlines to meet internal and external stakeholder expectations; proactively identify and escalate risks to leadership.
- Drive the seamless integration of new programs into core Operations, meticulously tracking key processes and measuring their impact on targeted KPIs.
- Collaborate closely with clinical and operations teams to develop and maintain clinical safety policies and procedures in strict accordance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
What we expect from you:
- You have experience in managing clinical programs, preferably in mental health or a healthcare setting, including experience in program development, product build coordination, implementation, and maintenance.
- You have at least 5+ years of cross-functional experience in a high-growth startup and/or healthcare systems
- Excellent operational chops with strong organizational skills and the ability to drive initiatives and manage cross-functional tasks and deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and influence cross-functional teams (clinical and non-clinical, including product teams) through strong interpersonal and communication skills to align initiatives and meet timelines.
- Strong analytical skills to track key program processes, measure impact on KPIs, and make data-driven decisions to optimize program effectiveness and scalability.
- Proven experience in project management, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously, along with tracking and executing on recurring weekly, monthly and yearly operations tasks
- Exceptional at communication: written, verbal, and listening skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and operate effectively in ambiguity
Preferred
- Strong experience with implementing and maintaining clinical initiatives and programs in mental health care delivery
- Experience engaging with health care product teams
- LCSW, LMFT, LPC, licensed psychologist or similar direct care delivery role within the behavioral health field
- Experience in the digital mental health ecosystem space is preferred
