Job Overview:

The Director, Account Management manages the account management function for assigned clients with oversight from the VP, of Account Management. Implements short - and long-term strategies for building client relationships, generating new business, and driving revenue growth. Establishes data collection and monitoring processes that reflect the status and health of accounts. Facilitates targeted action plans to resolve issues and maintain client satisfaction. Coordinates and leads interactions across our client portfolio. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure all contractual requirements are met and any new enhancements to drive efficiency and program success are implemented. The Director of Account Management will also manage all day-to-day communications, bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings for their specific client assignments with oversight and guidance from the VP, Account Management, and other internal stakeholders to ensure operational excellence in accordance with the customer's contract.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Lead implementation and onboarding discussions with new or expanding customers
  • Clearly articulate contractual needs to internal departmental owners to ensure all of our requirements are met and/or exceeded, when possible
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Assist with negotiating contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and operational sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to drive client growth
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Prepare reports and presentations showcasing account status
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations, as needed
  • Perform customer in-services with customer service, care management and staff members to articulate the Wider Circle approach
  • Perform onsite visits no less than bi-annually, more frequently when necessary

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or equivalent role
  • 7+ years of experience in client management, with experience in the healthcare industry. Specifically Medicare, Medicaid and DSNP.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • General Google docs, slides, and sheets experience is a must. as well as familiarity with managing production-level data via Tableau or other similar programs
