We are currently seeking a Business Analyst - Life & Annuities - McKinney, Texas to join our team in McKinney, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

This is a permanent, fulltime, salaried position with benefits.  Not open to C2C or C2H.

 

This position is hybrid role requiring three or more days per week at our client's office in McKinney, Texas

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design
• Develop analysis and reporting capabilities
• Perform discovery and analysis  of requirements based on current system functions, and business needs
• Elicit business requirements
• Translate business requirements to functional requirements
• Clarify any questions engineering team have
• Produce Data maps between source and target systems
• Interpret data and analyze results
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
• Project co-ordination

 

Basic, Required Qualifications:

• Minmum three years' experience interpreting data and analyzing results
• Minmum three years' experience in Data mapping projects
• Minmum three years' experience with SQL
• Bachelor's degree in a related field

 

Other Desired Qualifications:

• Strong Integration/Mapping experience
• Insurance background - Life Insurance industry experience is a plus

• Data mapping between systems

• Project coordination
• Insurance Policy Administration experience
• Data Migration experience
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Proven working experience as a business analyst or business data analyst
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
• Experience in system migrations efforts preferred
• Strong communication skills
