Estimating Administrator

We use intuitive electrical design software to create single source low voltage switchgear solutions that enable our clients to take a fully integrated approach to their power distribution. 

Vertiv, Burnfoot, Ireland are looking for an Estimating Administrator to join their friendly, bustling Estimating Department. Due to Vertiv's global success, the team are busier than ever meaning the opportunity for growth and progression is guaranteed. This is also an excellent opportunity to work closely with sales and the wider estimating team. 

The role - a technical description but training is provided

• You will partner with the Estimators, providing support structures to enhance the efficiency of the team unit.
• To be responsible for prioritising and following through on material take offs at all stages and presenting such data in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Help and assist the Estimating team for sale quotations and act as a primary resource for managing calls and customer e-mails when required.
• Confirm and update orders on sales information and communicate to relevant departments.
• Complete any projects assigned by Estimating Team including but not limited to quotations, tap offs and administrator tasks
• Assist with estimating duties to include review of drawings and specifications, material take-off etc.

About you

• Experience within a busy administrative team ideally within either a Manufacturing/Engineering setting or Sales/Quotation support… or similar! 
• Organised and Efficient! with the ability to multitask. 
• Possess computer proficiency including Microsoft Word and Excel. 
• A team player
