What will you do as a Maintenance & Reliability Manager?

This position manages Maintenance ensuring that the facilities are maintained in accordance with Company standards.  Manages or assists with capital projects including expansions, updates, etc., liaises with customers on technical and/or engineering matters; manages terminal utilities.

What do we expect from you as a Maintenance & Reliability Manager?

• 4 year college degree (preferred) or 2 year technical degree with equivalent experience

• 10+ years’ experience working in Maintenance, Technical or Engineering fields

• 5+ years supervisory experience especially managing technical professionals

• Experience in creating, analyzing and working within budgets

• Experience in writing and implementing processes and procedures

• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, MS Project, various email and internet programs and applications

• Experience working in safety critical environment; strong understanding of

• Project management and/or experience with construction projects; experience budgeting and planning projects; ability to translate technical plans into laymen’s terms and communicate such translations in clear terminology; experience working with government documents

• Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written; Spanish language skills helpful; listening skills; experience creating and delivering presentations

• Ability to prioritize and set goals; skilled in detail orientation, monitoring and follow through

• Good understanding of environmental, DOT, USCG, safety, health and regulatory requirements

• Customer service focus including the ability to communicate diplomatically; problem solver

• Experience working with Federal, state and local environmental regulations including RCRA

What does your day look like?

Your core responsibilities are:

• Abides by all safety procedures and practices applicable to location and position; participates in appropriate safety training; demonstrates a commitment to and support of SH&E principles and values; champions safety as necessary

• Accountable and responsible for identifying whether an asset requires preventive maintenance, based on risk assessments, maintenance policies, OEM maintenance manual, and analysis of the maintenance history.

• Safeguard the continuity of the operations by improving system/equipment reliability by means of providing input to the 3-year maintenance plan

• Responsible for determining and adjusting the required preventive maintenance for an asset to include: specifications for the type of maintenance which must be performed on a regular basis; possible adjustments based on manufacturer’s recommendations, legislation, and/or status of the warranty

• Responsibility to analyze records from CMMS (ME2) to identify bad actors and to prioritize preventive maintenance and implementation of solutions

• Responsible to facilitate causal analyses for trouble points and to troubleshoot equipment in the field

• Responsible to create metrics and reporting of maintenance analytics and report to management on pre-defined key performance indicators like uptime, bad actors, MTBF, MTTR, a
