About the role
<p><span><strong><u>POSITION SUMMARY</u></strong> </span></p>
<p><span>The busbar Project Manager plays a critical role in leading, planning, execution and delivery of multiple projects, primarily within the MEP and data centre environments. This role requires strong leadership, organization and communication skills to ensure all projects are completed successfully, on time, and within budget, and to the highest quality standards. </span></p>
<p><span>As leaders, the PM will be responsible for the continued development of management methods and best practices, provide optimal procedural services, and concern themselves with the health, risk, and dexterity of Projects through active engagement with Reporting Structures and department colleagues at all levels. </span></p>

<p><span><strong><u>RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong> </span></p>
<p><span>Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple busbar projects, from initial planning through to completion across data centre and MEP construction environments </span></p>
<p><span>Plan and co-ordinate resources, including working with the Engineering team on project design </span></p>
<p><span>Prepare and manage project budgets ensuring successful delivery within financial targets </span></p>
<p><span>Monitor project progress and performance, keeping both internal and external stakeholders informed throughout the project life cycle </span></p>
<p><span>Facilitate clear and regular communications between project teams, operations and senior management </span></p>
<p><span>Serve as client’s point of contact ensuring effective communication throughout the project </span></p>
<p><span>Foster strong teamwork by assigning responsibility, offering support and promoting collaboration within the team </span></p>
<p><span>Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and participating in innovations and best practices </span></p>
<p><span>Ensure client approval on all technical submissions and drawings to enable timely release to production </span></p>
<p><span>Coordinate with the Purchasing department to forecast and load long-lead time requirements in advance </span></p>
<p><span>Provide projected demand and initial material requirements to the scheduling department to support capacity planning </span></p>
<p><span>Work with Project Planners to develop and maintain project-specific programs </span></p>
<p><span>Oversee the release of parts to production following engineering and drawing approvals </span></p>
<p><span>Ensure timely dispatch of completed equipment to site by coordinating with relevant departments/teams </span></p>
<p><span>Providing oversight and direction regarding Project Task Planning, considering dependencies of multiple interrelated departments </span></p>
<p><span>Development and maintaining reporting structures, with special concentration on Risk Management Mitigation, and Commercial Performance Reports. </span></p>
<p><span>Provide leadership and discipline in the development of a proactive risk management environment by promotion and usage of effective reporting structures and principles. </span></p>
<p><span><strong><u>QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong> </span></p>
<p><span>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline </span></p>
<p><span>Significant experience in project management withing a manufacturing, MEP or data centre environments </span></p>
<p><span>Proven experience managing complex projects from initiation to completion </span></p>
<p><span>Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools </span></p>
<p><span> </span><br/><span><strong><u>Desirable</u></strong> </span></p>
<p><span>Professional project management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA) </span></p>
<p><span>Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, switchgear, or busbar trunking systems </span></p>
<p><span>Proven experience managing complex projects </span></p>
<p><span>Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or similar) </span></p>
<p><span>Previous experience working in a fast-paced, client-driven project delivery environment </span></p>

<p><span><strong><u>TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED</u></strong> </span></p>

<p><span>Intermittent travel to various production facilities and site locations </span></p>
