JX Team Member - 3rd Shift

Description

The position produces expanded polypropylene molded products within quality specifications, completes appropriate documentation and ensures proper press operation. The job contributes to company goals through its innovations, flexibility, reliability, and hands-on knowledge of the molding and molding support processes which enable us to deliver reliably on time, at or below projected costs, variance free products, and quickly respond to ever changing customer needs profitably. 

Requirements

Team member will train in all molding processes to meet customer demand while sensitive to costs and costs control while adhering to all safety regulations, quality and environmental and procedures. 

Perform job to produce high quality products in a safe, supportive work environment. Perform quality checks, collect and document product quality data, as trained and documented in Quality systems and minimize defects. Including:

Housekeeping duties

Assisting with tool changes

QC checks at the press

Data entry / labeling / bar coding on materials

Press adjustments – program changes

Covering vacation – call offs

Orient new team members as authorized to ensure effective work results and sound team dynamics. 

Other duties as assigned

Effective communication (reading and writing) and basic math skills are necessary, computer skills
