We are searching for the best talent for a Senior Warehouse Supervisor to be located in Malvern, PA.
Purpose: As the Senior Warehouse Supervisor for Malvern, you are responsible for leading all aspects of the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient processes and optimal resource management. This role involves leading a team of warehouse personnel, coordinating the flow of goods from receipt to shipment, and implementing leading practices to enhance operational performance. The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional teams to meet customer demands, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The Sr Supervisor will also drive continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability to achieve organizational goals and deliver exceptional service.
You will be responsible for:
- Supervising individual contributors and/or people leaders, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management.
- Defining project terms for critical supply chain cGMP standard operating procedures, critical achievements, key performance measures, and end deliverables.
- Establishing high-level departmental delegation for warehouse material movement and the subsequent processing and distribution of all finished goods and services in compliance with regulatory agency protocols, quality standards and applicable local and federal regulations.
- Conducting activities and monitoring efficiencies for all high-level Warehouse and Distribution supply chain logistics operations, from initial receiving of components in materials movement, to the final distribution and transportation of materials.
- Coordinating all key warehousing and distribution operations, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure a safe and ethical work environment that meets the company’s highest standards of quality, safety, compliance, and accountability.
- Defining initiatives to ensure that all warehouse areas are properly maintained, and that product is stored and handled in accordance with requirements established by company policies and procedures as well as federal and local regulatory requirements.
- Establishing key measures for site inventory by verifying accuracy for all transactions, following departmental cycle count programs, to avoid physical inventory inaccuracies.
- Managing operational aspects of their team (e.g., workflow, performance, and compliance), as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within expected standards.
- Understanding and applying Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with the team.
- Carrying out duties in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations and guidelines including cGMP, GDP’s, FDA, USDA, EPA, TSA, OSHA, SAP, and MES.
- Driving documentation and housekeeping practices to assure a continuous state of inspection readiness.
- Coordinating inbound/outbound flow of material in the warehouse.
- Coordinating sampling of incoming shipments.
Qualifications / Requirements
Education:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. An advanced degree is preferred.
