If you are looking for a flexible, fulfilling, and rewarding job that allows you to make a difference, you needn’t look any further than Celestial Care.RESPONSIBILITIESAs a Caregiver, you will be primarily responsible for providing companionship and assistance with meal preparation, laundry and light housekeeping, including:
- Must be able to help a patient transfer, assist with ADLs, take vital signs, properly report concerns to nursing support team, light house cleaning and cooking, as well as other common nursing aide duties.
- Ability to provide basic care to patients, including assist with daily activities such as personal care, light cooking and cleaning, changing bed linens, arranging appointments.
- Listen to the patient and respond to concerns or requests
- Communicate concerns to support team when assistance is necessary
- Ability to work 2 or more 12 hour shifts per week
- Ability to travel to patient’s home location
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, stretch, reach
- Ability to lift, assist and maneuver patients, as needed
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Compassionate and friendly demeanor
- Ability to demonstrate dedication and patience
- Ability to think critically
- Must remain alert and observant
- Valid driver's license and transportation
- Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
- Patients live valley-wide: primarily Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, and Fountain Hills
- C.N.A. (Certified Nursing Assistant) or PCT (Personal Care Technician) experience is preferred but not required.
- We also accept applications from non-CNAs that are in medical school to become a doctor or nursing school, as well as companions, certified caregivers, patient care technicians (P.C.T.), home health aides (HHAs H.H.A.) with relevant experience.
