Colgate is expanding its direct-to-consumer (DTC) and B2B eCommerce footprint globally. We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with a specialized focus on Payment Orchestration and ERP Integration. You will be the technical architect behind how we collect revenue, ensuring that every transaction is captured securely in a payment-service-provider (PSP) and synchronized perfectly with our SAP Finance backend.

This position is based out of the Piscataway, NJ location. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

What you'll do

• Full Stack Development: Architect and deploy scalable backend microservices (Node.js/Python) and responsive frontends (React/Angular) within cloud environments like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  
• Payment Orchestration: Design and implement global payment gateway integrations (Stripe) supporting credit cards, digital wallets, ACH, and localized payment methods.
  
• SAP & ERP Integration: Build end-to-end data pipelines and O2C frameworks to synchronize eCommerce transactions with SAP S/4HANA and General Ledger entries.
  
• Financial Automation: Develop complex workflows for the full financial lifecycle, including multi-currency capture, automated refunds, partial returns, and dispute management.
  
• Middleware & Architecture: Use SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to build extension applications that bridge cloud storefronts with the SAP core.
• Security & Performance: Ensure global compliance (PCI-DSS, GDPR/CCPA) while optimizing applications for high-speed performance across diverse international markets.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience with Stripe (or equivalent), including Elements, Billing, Webhooks, and diverse payment rails like ACH, SEPA, and Digital Wallets.
• Proficient in modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) and backend development using Node.js or Python to build secure, end-to-end web applications.
• Strong command of relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) or NoSQL databases, Git version control, and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
• Proven ability to build logic for real-time transaction monitoring, automated reconciliation, and complex payment event handling.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and the Digital Payment Add-On to facilitate seamless communication between payment gateways and ERP systems.
• Deep understanding of SAP Finance (FI/CO), with the ability to accurately map digital transaction lifecycles to General Ledger (GL) entries.
• Hands-on experience with Headless Commerce platforms such as Commercetools, Shopify Plus, or Adobe Commerce.
• Practical exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically utilizing BigQuery for data insights and App Engine for scalable hosting.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software within Agile/Scrum frameworks.

Compensation and Benefits
