KHON seeks an Executive Producer for our Living 808 Lifestyle Show. You'll be working on overseeing daily operations, booking guests, producing studio and on location segments. You’ll work closely with the show hosts and associate producer to create the most entertaining and informative lifestyle show. Responsibilities include writing, editing and working closely with the sales team on client interaction.
Additional Responsibilities:
Produce lifestyle show
Writes and approves scripts
Works with host on interviews and on location segments
Balances feature content to create compelling shows
Edits video content
Delegates duties to show staff
Interacts with viewers and users on social media sites
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements & Skills:
Must be able to interact well with video journalists, hosts, anchors, videographers, news managers, production, engineering staff and sales team
Detail oriented
Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills
Strong news judgment, journalistic integrity and understanding of viewer needs and expectations
Utilize state-of-the-art television technology
