Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer (Mid-Level or Senior) to join our F-15 Program in Berkeley, Missouri.

This position will support critical Quality Engineering support for the F-15 production.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads integration of contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.
  • Provides interpretation of complex requirements.
  • Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for the program to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
  • Leads various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
  • Develops and selects methods for analysis to ensure manufacturing readiness.
  • Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Develops and implements corrective actions.
  • Performs benchmarking and other forms of advanced analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
  • Works under minimal direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry
  • 1+ year of experience  working in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or in a regulated industry
  • 3+ years of experience developing/managing metrics root cause corrective actions (RCCA)
  • Experience analyzing data and generating metrics reports
  • Experience with AS9100 or ISO9000 and/or similar QMS Standard

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level 4: 7 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working with quality systems (e.g., Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS9100))
  • Experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data; summarizing findings; and developing conclusions

Typical Education & Experience:

Level 3:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Level 4:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:
