01 Team Leader Energy Plant

Assists the Facility Manager in the day-to-day operation of the Facilities Management Department.

Schedules and supervises all daily activities of the Central Energy Plant (CEP) team members.  Responsible for training and development of supervised team members.  Oversees work performed by service contractors and vendors.

Responsible for scheduling and overseeing shutdowns and outages associated with maintenance or construction.

Ensures facilities team members complete daily documentation to include work orders, preventive maintenance, testing and inspection reports, and daily rounds.

Ensures Joint Commission compliance regarding the Utilities Management Plan and with all aspects of the Facilities Management Department.

Reports equipment deficiencies to department leadership in a timely manner.  Responsible for equipment and system maintenance, installation, and repair.  Responsible for maintaining a successful preventive maintenance program on all equipment and systems. 

Provides monthly report to Facility Manager regarding status of team, equipment, and special projects.  Completes daily CEP reports.

Provides technical knowledge to department team members when faced with trouble shooting challenges.

Maintains department inventory to ensure adequate supply of parts/stock while ensuring efficient use of resources.

Responsible for ensuring timely completion of special projects as assigned by department leadership.

Performs all other duties as assigned.
