Summarized Purpose:

Provides leadership and global oversight of operations for Medical Communications. Responsible for development of the infrastructure to support operational success, as well as strategy formulation and implementation processes to ensure delivery of best-in-class services. Develops and communicates the strategic direction for the department, develops the annual business plan and creates appropriate systems and policies to enhance the effectiveness of the department. Creates a high-performance culture through leadership, coaching and development to achieve delivery of service targets/measures (e.g. cost, quality, time). Collaborates with global colleagues and leadership of other functional groups to help meet overall business objectives and improve operational effectiveness. Ensures the establishment of competitive service delivery models and innovations that achieve financial targets, client satisfaction and retention and delivery of high-quality services in adherence with policies and procedures
