What you will be doing

As the Instructional Designer and Trainer reporting to the Senior Manager, Instructional Design and Training, you will drive the creation and upkeep of engaging content and tools within the Training & Instructional Design team. Your main focus will be crafting impactful training experiences for Cencora Sales University, optimizing learning efficiency and sales proficiency. Dive into a dynamic role within a diverse organizational landscape, tailoring learning solutions to meet customer needs and industry trends. Collaborate closely with various teams to design role-specific courses that impart essential skills to users efficiently. Key interactions include Field Sales Trainers, eLearning Specialists, Business Partners, and more. Aligning seamlessly with Sales Leadership and HR is vital; your ability to communicate strategy effectively and seek feedback collaboratively will be key to your success in this exciting position.

• This role is responsible for assisting with training needs and helping to deliver solutions that address performance gaps. The Learning Consultant will follow the Commercial Learning team processes to analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate instructional materials.
• The Learning Consultant works with other members of Commercial Learning and Enablement, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts to help develop and implement learning solutions that incorporate best practices of action-based, performance-focused learning principles and across multiple delivery methods, including self-paced, instructor-led, web-based, virtual, and blended instruction.

What your background should look like 

Requires specific training in fields such as education and training, instructional design, business administration, sales, marketing or similar vocations obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree Program and/or advanced degree from accredited institution. Master’s degree preferred. Requires 3+ years in adult education training experience or equivalent work experience in sales and sales management; direct experience in needs assessment, curriculum design, testing, evaluation, quality control, performance metrics and reporting for adult education programs previous experience in a Corporate or Consulting environment preferred. Previous experience in sales or growth organization support required.

• Excellent presentation, organizational, verbal, written and interpersonal skills Ability to communicate effectively, in English, both orally and in writing with a variety of levels of an organization; editing, proofreading, and composition skills required.
• Skilled at identifying requirements, key messages, key stakeholders, and developing the approach to effectively share the information within the department as well as across the organization.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and produce high quality results with attention to detail.
• Strong proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications and advanced Power Point skills. Experience with web authoring tools (e.g., Dreamweaver, Lectora, Captivate, Flash, etc.) and Learning Management Systems Strong computer skills; experience using HTML, Articulate Storyline, TechSmith Camtasia, Flash, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other corporate intranet content management tools. Experience in photo-editing and document-design, including template development.
• Strong business background is essential; knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry a plus.
