Position Overview:KPA has an immediate opening for a driven SDR Team Lead on our Hazardous Industries team, to develop new business from a range of inbound leads and outbound sales efforts to drive substantial sales growth in new and existing markets. The SDR Team Lead will also serve as an opportunity to gain valuable leadership skills and serve as a key resource across the Hazardous Industries SDR team. This role requires cross-functional collaboration, working closely with marketing and field sales teams. A successful candidate will be familiar with the KPA SDR function and have a proven track record of achieving both activity and opportunity creation targets. The Team Lead role is pivotal for KPA’s success and scaling as well as an incredible next step for career development.In this role, you will be accountable for managing activity metrics, quota attainment, outreach cadence expectations, accountable for bookings, and assisting in SDR team development. This position requires an organized, focused, and positive individual who can take coaching and learn while doing. Integrity is a must.

Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Hazardous Industries SDR team to provide them with training and support for day-to-day operations.
- Holding weekly 1:1s with your team of Hazardous Industries SDRs
- Supporting the SDR Manager with the day-to-day management of the team
- Reviewing Hazardous Industries SDR calls weekly to provide coaching on talk-tracks.
- Involved in recruiting as the company scales the Hazardous industries SDR team.
- Monitoring metrics to analyze and improve the SDR processes.
- Encouraging creativity and strategic thinking when it comes to outbound prospecting campaigns (emails, cold calls, LinkedIn messaging, sales tools) to generate leads for target markets.
- Managing data in their CRM, ensuring all communications are logged and kept up to date.
- Sharing ideas and best practices with the team and SDR manager to contribute to growth.
Required Skills and Experience
- An ability to lead and develop talent and teams.
- A history of consistently hitting target quota & activity metrics
- Excellent communication, listening and ability to provide feedback.
- The ability to independently organize and prioritize your workday.
- Strong understanding of our CRM software & other sales tools
- A positive and energetic approach
- A proven track record of managing strategic outreach efforts that make a measurable impact to lead conversion, sales pipeline generation and sales bookings.
- Not afraid to bring new ideas to the table as well as constructive feedback.
- Creative thinker with strong oral and written skills
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with strong implementation skills – instinctively understands angles and positioning.
Location
- KPA is headquartered in Westminster, CO just outside of Denver. We operate in a hybrid, remote-first work model where local candidates can go into the office for in-person collaboration, team meetings, or events. The SDR team goes into the office on average once per week and attendance is expected.
Compensation
- KPA offers the SDR Team Lead role with a competitive compensation plan that is a balance of base pay and pay-for-performance. We offer comprehensive total compensation programs with employee benefits including health, dental, vision, life, short- and long-term disability insurance and a 401K program with a match.
- Annual Base Salary range of 60-65k
- Annual On Target Earnings of 100-105k
