Essential Job Functions – Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations in alignment with internal deadlines
• Perform intercompany accounting transactions, reconciliations, and confirmations
• Support GAAP and statutory audit activities, serving as a liaison with auditors
• Generate financial reports and other schedules
• Work with other functions / departments to ensure proper record-keeping
• Perform bank account reconciliations
• Support and/or manage various AR processes in conjunction with the AR credit analyst
• Maintain and update Oracle FCC data, uploads, and account mapping
• Support ERP testing and maintenance
• Generate financial reports, perform analysis, and respond to inquiries
• Identify and drive process improvement opportunities
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned by management

 

Education – Experience – Qualifications

• Completion of 4-year degree in accounting from an accredited college or university required
• Minimum three to five years of experience in full time accounting role required
• Big 4 experience preferred
• Proficiency in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance management
• Strong command of Microsoft Office products
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills – written, oral and inter-personal
• Process-driven and works independently with focus on accuracy and quality
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and handle shifting priorities
• Experience handling sensitive personal information in a discrete and confidential manner
• Knowledge of state and local sales tax requirements, including annual returns / Ohio CAT tax
• Experience with Infor Cloud Suite Industrial (Infor CSI) preferred, but not required
• Payroll administration and reporting experience welcomed
