• Under immediate supervision, serves as a Database Administration Specialist I for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT), supporting the Illinois Department of Revenue (IDOR), assisting in performing limit assignments in the analysis and/or complex technical functions to monitor and maintain the database systems (SQL Server) to enable GenTax.
• Performs application programming support of limited complexity, supporting, maintaining and developing scripts and programs in support of DB2 and SQL Server.
• Receives instructions in understanding and applying modern systems methodology and standard operating procedures in performing the structured phases of a system lifecycle.
