About the role

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Mission Success Team plays a critical role in orchestrating the seamless deployment and operation of our assets across sea, air, and ground. Tasked with the vital mission of maintaining the health of these deployed systems, we collaborate closely with other specialized teams to reach this objective even in the most austere and signal-denied environments. The ability to communicate with these systems is critical to our success. This commitment to maintaining constant connectivity underpins the strategic effectiveness of our operations. Real-time data exchange and command-and-control capabilities enable our operational continuity and the strategic advantage we maintain across all domains.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a product support specialist, your mission is to do whatever it takes to maintain the health of our deployed technology. You will be responsible for identifying, triaging, escalating, and managing resolution of all incidents across our deployed fleet of systems. You should have an aptitude for debugging and an appetite for real-time response, rapid resolution, and root-causing complex issues on electromechanical systems. If you are passionate about ground-breaking technology, contributing to the national security mission, interacting alongside professionals that span a wide-range of disciplines, and providing best-in-class product operations oversight, Anduril is interested in speaking with you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Sustain Anduril’s deployments by combining an understanding of our customers’ missions with familiarity of our products and integrations
  • Triage, diagnose and root cause product incidents, and driving postmortem actions including providing status visibility through resolution
  • Consistently assess and ratchet up the quality of the fleet’s observability and telemetry in partnership with product teams
  • Develop fleet health reporting spanning Anduril’s technology stack, continuously assessing deviations from the baseline
  • Interface with internal operations and product teams to identify and solve system or product reliability issues
  • Support Anduril’s global customers through proactive communications and detail-oriented execution
  • Propose process and product improvements based on customer feedback and available metrics/analytics
  • Perform maintenance on Anduril hardware through use of Linux command line function

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated experience as a self-starter, able to find and resolve issues on your own.
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving in unstructured situations at the interface of hardware, software, and networking. Ability to drive challenging and vague technical problems to clarity and resolution.
  • Proven ability to master a technical system and support it in production operational environments. Must demonstrate an innate drive to be self-sufficient across the depth and breadth of a technical system.
  • Daily practice of excellence and rigor - you execute the 100th rep of a process with the same focus and care as the first five reps.
  • Confident with navigating ambiguity and crafting new ways of doing things.
  • Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with observability tooling such as DataDog, Grafana, and Victor Ops; exposure to software development tooling such as Git and Jira.
  • Familiarity with networking products and radars.
  • Basic understanding of Python, Bash, or JavaScript or a desire to learn.
  • Experience with on-call support operations and working in limited risk tolerance production environments.
  • Government agency experience preferred.
  • Willingness to work non-standard hours and weekends (flexible 8 hour morning shift between 6am-6pm).
