Senior Operations Manager, Creative Projects
PatreonAbout the role
Patreon is the best place for creators to fire up their fandoms, share exclusive work, and turn their passions into lasting creative businesses. Over 250,000 podcasters, writers, musicians, artists, and other creative people use Patreon to reach their biggest fans directly and earn an income for the value they provide. Creators can offer paid memberships that unlock access to exclusive work and community, or sell individual digital items from their own Patreon shops.
Ultimately, our goal is simple: fund the creative class. And we’re leaders in that space, having sent over $3.5 billion to creators since our founding. We’re continuing to invest heavily in building the best creator tools with the best team in the creator economy, and are looking for a Senior Operations Manager, Creative Projects to support our mission.
This role is based in San Francisco or Los Angeles and open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model.
At Patreon, we’re passionate about helping creators make what excites them and share it directly with their fans who love it most. We're looking for a Senior Operations Manager of Creative Projects to build and co-lead a team of creative thinkers and makers who operate at the intersection of creativity, culture, fandom, and technology.
As one of the studio leaders, you’ll report into the head of video and partner directly with our creative marketing teams. You’ll be at the center of all creative marketing projects that range in scope - from scalable marketing templates to large scale creator-centric campaigns with long lead times, to quick turnaround assets needed same-day. You are tenacious and open, creative and analytical. You are hands-on with the ability to facilitate discussions, enhance cross-organization communication and establish unified systems that help ensure strategic thinking and successful execution.
You will outline a clear process, identify issues, make recommendations and help ensure overall day-to-day operations are running smoothly. You will develop a bench of creative resources to support the ebbs and flows of creative needs, assigning creatives to work with producers, strategists, and marketing managers to develop and deliver industry-leading creative that breaks through and connects deeply with creators and their fans. You will execute with measurable performance through the centralization of important information and operations, and optimization of data, tools, people and processes across multiple project types. You will improve the discipline of creative marketing internally with work that spans mediums, traditional and non-traditional, helps deliver against the company’s mission, and illustrates how Patreon’s suite of tools differ from others in the space.
