Job Description

The director of Product leads the entire Product team; this includes all Groups Product Managers, UX/UI Designer(s), Product Managers and the agile function of Product Owner crossing all Pillars (currently: Infrastructure Pillar, Game Online Services Pillar, and Platform Pillar). All Pillars are operating independently from each other, while at the same time share many dependencies – managing all pillars include the; daily management of the teams, setting the vision & scope for the teams, ensuring a cohesive roadmap for all pillars and define priorities based on business value.

The Director of Product is also responsible for all cost prices, sales prices, the product catalog and accountable for sales collateral and the GTM of certain products to make sure we sell our services at appropriate margins and make sure what we sell to our customers are services we can support throughout the organization.

To do so Pre-Sales is also a part of the responsibility of the Director of Product. Currently these are two FTE’s who operate within the infrastructure pillar, but may be split to a separate group and has the responsibility of helping sales land new deals from a technical perspective, as well as to align the internal organization (both priotization as well as help with technical decision making) to make sure we convert leads from top of the funnel to the bottom of the funnel.

On top of the responsibilities within the Product team, the director of product is also part of the company wide Management Team (MT) – responsibilities here lie to represent the product department and responsibilities within a wider group, but also from a neutral standpoint on other company wide related matters.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide a monthly ‘’Business Roadmap’’ that provides a more high-over insight in our product developments and when we expect to hit a go to market and update key stakeholders (sales, marketing) on progress.
  • Liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to deliver on key product deliverables that improve our TAM/GTM/Competitive positioning on the market
  • Work closely with a multi-disciplined team (engineering, development, product, marketing, sales) and align on deliverables that create the most business value
  • Prioritize all product initiatives based on business value.
  • Lead proof of concepts with prospects, working closely with other technical and commercial teams
  • Be part of the Commercial Leadership team, engaging with Sales and Marketing on a weekly basis
  • Advocate the product direction and roadmaps within the organization.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to make sure what is in our sales funnel can be delivered in a timely way to improve funnel conversion rates.
  • Challenge technical stakeholders on proposed technical changes to ensure business value

Profile:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in product leadership roles, with a proven record of delivering products.
  • Strong preference if you have previous experience in IaaS or SaaS services within the Hosting, Cloud or Video Games Industry.
  • You have a visionary mindset paired with a pragmatic execution focused approach, capable to translate big ideas into reality
  • A background in mentoring and leading product teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on experience crafting and implementing efficient product management processes and tools.
  • You bring insight that could further elevate our product suite and broaden our total addressable market.
